# Wise Mind MCP server

> A public, read-only Model Context Protocol server that gives an assistant DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) skills and the Let Them / Let Me idea, so it can help a person through a hard moment with other people, practically and emotionally. No sign-in, no API key, nothing stored.

If you are in crisis or thinking about ending your life, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now: https://findahelpline.com/

Endpoint: https://wisemind.calebsargeant.com/ (Streamable HTTP, POST, JSON responses). Protocol versions: 2026-07-28, 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26, 2024-11-05. There is no `/mcp` path; the hostname is the endpoint.

## Connect

- Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http wise-mind https://wisemind.calebsargeant.com/`, or the plugin, which adds a skill that tells Claude when to use it: `claude plugin marketplace add CalebSargeant/wise-mind`, then `claude plugin install wise-mind@wise-mind`
- Claude apps (claude.ai, desktop, mobile): Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, URL https://wisemind.calebsargeant.com/
- Any other client: point its Streamable HTTP transport at the same URL. Nothing to authenticate.

Once connected, the assistant calls these on its own when you describe something hard. You don't need to ask for DBT by name.

## Tools

- `wise_mind_crisis_support`: Crisis support and local helplines.
- `wise_mind_plan_conversation`: Plan a hard conversation (DEAR MAN, GIVE, FAST).
- `wise_mind_skill`: DBT skills: one in full, a search, or the whole list.
- `wise_mind_theirs_or_mine`: Theirs or mine: sort what to accept from what to act on (Let Them / Let Me).
- `wise_mind_understand_emotion`: Understand an emotion: does it fit, and what to do.
- `wise_mind_work_through_situation`: Work through a hard moment.

## Prompts (slash commands)

- `check_in`: A two-minute check-in: how you feel, how strong, what you did with it, and one skill to practise today.
- `hard_moment`: Start here when something has upset you. The assistant listens first, helps you settle if it's all too much, then works through it with you using DBT skills and Let Them / Let Me.
- `prepare_conversation`: Plan what to say when you need to ask for something, say no, set a boundary or repair things, using DBT's DEAR MAN, GIVE and FAST.
- `theirs_or_mine`: Sort what belongs to the other person from what's yours to do, with the DBT skills for each side and the cases where letting go doesn't apply.

## Privacy

The assistant sends categories (a situation type, emotion families, a 0-10 intensity), never your story or names. The server stores nothing, logs no tool arguments and calls nothing else. Policy: https://wisemind.calebsargeant.com/privacy
